The REACH Project's mission is to give economically disadvantaged children and youth the tools they need to overcome barriers that place them at-risk for academic failure and involvement in anti-social behaviors, and help them recognize their own self-worth.  We embrace the belief that children have a natural desire to learn, and they enter the academic arena with that innate desire. We further believe it is the academic arena where children will either be motivated to embrace learning,  or become disillusioned with the learning process. Therefore, it is our intent to develop and implement educationally enriching programs and activities that will ultimately transcend to academic excellence in the classroom.

OUR MISSION

OUR PHILOSOPHY

About us

Understanding many of our youth will come to us with "damaged" self-esteem because of the very nature of their current or past environments and behaviors, it will be essential to help them "celebrate" their mistakes and failures so they will understand that mistakes and failures are a natural part of life but not the end of life itself.
